Yard School upcoming important dates:

April 9: Spring session begins.  8 weeks, April 9-June 3.

May 2: Drawing Doubles canceled due to the Bridal Show. A makeup will be held for this class - check the makeup calendar below or consult with your instructor.

May 10: Evening classes (after 6:30 pm) canceled due to Montclair Pre-K Fundraiser.  Makeups will be held for these classes - check the makeup calendar below or consult with your instructor.

May 11: World of Watercolor, Art Journaling, Creatures & Animals, and Draw Paint Create are canceled due to Gala activities. Makeups will be held for these classes - check the makeup calendar below or consult with your instructor.

May 12: All classes canceled due to the Gala.  Makeups will be held for these classes - check the makeup calendar below or consult with your instructor.

May 26-28: Yard School closed for Memorial weekend.  No classes Saturday - Monday. The Museum is closed Monday May 28th only. Makeups will be held for these classes - check the makeup calendar below or consult with your instructor.

June 3: Spring session ends. Makeups begin.  A makeup calendar is posted below or check with your instructor.

July 2: Summer session begins.  SummerART camps for children and teens begin. 8 weeks, July 2 - August 24.

• SummerART Session I: July 2 - 13 (no camp on the 4th)
• SummerART Session II: July 16 - 27
• SummerART Session III: July 30 - August 10
• SummerART Session IV: August 13 - 24

July 4: Independence Day. Yard School and the Montclair Museum will be closed. No classes or camps.  Wednesday evening Adult classes will begin on July 11.

July 11: Wednesday evening Adult summer classes begin one week late due to Independence Day.

July 13: Reception for Session I of SummerART camp.  4:30 - 5:30 in Leir Hall.

July 27: Reception for Session II of SummerART camp.  4:30 - 5:30 in Leir Hall.

August 6: Registration for Fall session begins for Members.

August 10: Reception for Session III of SummerART camp.  4:30 - 5:30 in Leir Hall.

August 13: Registration for Fall session begins for Non-mmembers.

August 24: Reception for Session IV of SummerART camp.  4:30 - 5:30 in Leir Hall.

August 24: Summer session ends.  Makeups for Adult classes begin.  A makeup calendar will be posted on this page or check with your instructor.

September 24: Fall session begins.  10 weeks: September 24-December 3.

October 8: Columbus day, no classes. Makeups will be held for these classes - check the makeup calendar that will be posted below or consult with your instructor.

November 21-25: Yard School closed for Thanksgiving weekend.  No classes Wednesday - Sunday. Makeups will be held for these classes - check the makeup calendar that will be posted below or consult with your instructor.

December 3: Fall session ends.  Makeups begin.  A makeup calendar will be posted on this page or check with your instructor.

Spring 2012 Makeup Calendar

Classes canceled due to teacher illness, holiday, the museum gala, or school closures are made up at the end of the semester, during the weeks of June 4, 11, and 18.  See the calendar below for the makeup dates for your class.
