MAM PARK BENCH
Second Wednesday of the month, 9:30 am – 11:30 am
Free with Museum admission
STORYTELLING IS AVAILABLE IN BOTH SPANISH AND ENGLISH
Parents with young children will enjoy MAM Park Bench, a program that introduces children to the Museum and provides them with an artistic social outing. Get acquainted with other parents and young children, work on fun art projects, and experience a guided tour of the Museum. Storytelling in the galleries is provided courtesy of the Children’s Services Department of the Montclair Public Library. Local native Spanish educator Nieves Cespedes will conduct storytelling in Spanish.

The Montclair Art Museum invites you and other Homeschooling families for a fun and educational afternoon. These two-hour programs will include a gallery tour and studio art project led by a Museum educator.

The Little Read
A Celebration of Reading Aloud to Children

The Little Read invites children to enjoy a good story read aloud by Montclair’s neighbors, writers, local heroes, and celebrities. Stories will be geared toward children in preschool through grade five. All Montclair readers and listeners are invited — people like you! Pumpkin Carving at MAM

Join us for a festive evening of hair-raising fun as MAM hosts a pumpkin carving and decorating night. Be ready for trick or treating by coming in costume or come as you are and unleash your creativity! Adults welcome too. Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Seasonal refreshments will be available. Pumpkins, art supplies, tools provided.

Celebrating Kids and What They Collect
Sunday, December 5, 1 – 5 p.m.
Open call to all young, budding collectors!
No matter if you collect rocks, toy robots, dolls, or baseball cards and seashells, please join MAM on this very special Family Day, where collecting and collections are in the spotlight. Reserve your table today. If interested in displaying your very own collection in MAM’s Leir Hall on Family Day, please have a parent or guardian e-mail bbalsimelli@montclairartmuseum.org to sign up. Space is limited. Participants must be between the ages of 7 and 16. In addition, along with MAM’s Education team, kids of all ages are invited to create a sculpture right before our eyes. The SOCK sculpture will be made out of all your mismatched socks, so please donate those old socks under your bed. All CLEAN socks welcome! Don’t miss out on what is sure to be an action packed day full of fun!
