Entertaining at the Montclair Art Museum

For corporations, organizations, and Museum members seeking a distinctive way to entertain clients and guests, the Montclair Art Museum provides a sophisticated and elegant setting.

Built in 1914, the Montclair Art Museum is a remarkable architectural treasure. Located among the beautiful homes and tree-lined streets of Montclair, New Jersey, this historic site is noted for its arboretum and neo-classical columns and portico.

In 2002 the Museum doubled its space, including the addition of new galleries and Leir Hall, a spectacular three-story room with a dramatic skylight.

The stage, audiovisual systems, concert piano, pantry, meeting room, and private parking lot provide various possibilities for events, shows, wedding receptions, lectures, and meetings. The Museum provides an approved list of fine caterers and valet parking services.

As part of an event, clients may also rent after-hours access to the Museum's distinguished galleries, where guests will enjoy guided tours of special exhibitions and works by such American greats as Sargent, Hopper, and O'Keeffe, as well as a superb collection of Native American art.

Corporate members and Inness members receive a discount on rental fees. The Montclair Art Museum cannot host political or religious events.
