Make a painting based on Dannielle Tegeder’s installation, Infrastructure. An initial lesson on linear perspective will address Tegeder’s focus on architecture, followed by a discussion of the tools and processes that the artist uses. Students will learn to distort basic geometric shapes using linear perspective as a way of constructing dynamic tension. Architectural templates and painters’ tape will also be used to design precise lines and further create a sense of movement and energy.
