Montclair Art Museum partnered with local artists and community members who came together to create the most vibrant corner in Montclair. The MAM Yarn Bomb was installed on February 3 and will stay up for as long as the weather cooperates. Come see it for yourself! Fiber art is constantly evolving, using old and new techniques and materials in ways never imagined before. While the juried exhibition New Directions in Fiber Arts hangs in MAM’s galleries, the crafters, the makers, and the (legal) artist vandals in our community are showing the public how beautiful, fun, and sometimes surprising, fiber art can be.

Please  note: Submissions to MAM Yarn Bomb will be displayed outside in the winter weather. Montclair Art Museum cannot guarantee any submitted pieces to the MAM Yarn Bomb will be returned after the installation period.
