How do I sign up for digital cards when I join or renew? 
When we launch digital membership cards in November 2020, all current members will receive an email with instructions to download their digital card.
From then on, all new and renewing members can choose "Digital Membership Card" under Membership Card Type when registering for a membership. MAM will then automatically send an email link you need to add the digital card to your smartphone wallet.

 

How do I add the membership card to my iPhone?
Access the email from your smartphone and click the "Download" button, then click "Add to Wallet" and "Add." The card will automatically go to your iPhone’s Apple Wallet. It can be accessed in Wallet at any time.

 

How do I add the membership card to my Android phone?
Android users need to download Wallet Passes from Google Play. After you have the app, access the email from your smartphone and click “Download” in the membership email, and the card will automatically go to your Wallet Passes app, where it can be accessed at any time.

 

I’d prefer not to use this digital membership card, what should I do?
When registering for your membership, select the "Physical Membership Card" option. If you registered before this option was available online, you can email members@montclairartmuseum.org to request a physical card.

 

I selected "Physical Membership Card" in my member registration, but I got an email to download a digital one. Why?

All registered MAM members will automatically receive an email to download a digital membership card. If you chose "Physical Membership Card" on your membership registration, you can ignore the email. Your mailed card should arrive soon!

 

I don’t have a mobile phone, what can I do?

You can email members@montclairartmuseum.org to request a physical card.

 

My name is spelled wrong/membership level is incorrect.
You can log in to the member portal to change your contact information, or contact members@montclairartmuseum.org

 

My family member is on this membership account also, how can she/he receive the card?
On an Android phone: Navigate to the back of the card (by clicking the small “i” on the front) and use the “Share Pass” button to send the card to your secondary member.

On an oPhone: Tap the circle button with three dots in it. Then use the share icon at the top right of the Digital Card to send to the second cardholder. Please note that anyone using the card to visit MAM will also have to show matching ID.

 

I downloaded my card but I can’t find it
If you have an iPhone, the card will automatically download to Apple Wallet. Check the app for your new card (scroll through any cards that are already there--it may be hiding!). If you have an Android, you’ll need to download Wallet Passes from the Play Store prior to downloading the card.
