SummerART: Digital Media Camp Session 2
Reboot your summer and learn to use technology as a tool for creative expression and communication in our Digital Media Camp. Level up your production skills by working with professional Digital Teaching Artists to learn essential tricks of the trade, while refining your personal vision through a series of design challenges. Develop fundamental and indispensable production techniques and find your own voice in becoming a prolific cultural producer in our increasingly connected world.
Enrollment is limited to increase personalized attention and skill-building support. Digital Media Camp is open to all levels of experience and no prior knowledge of software is required. Camps take place in our Media Lab, using state-of-the-art Surface Pro tablet computers and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
Session 2 Focus: Digital Drawing: Manga
If your child enjoys manga, anime, comics, and cartoons, this camp will allow them to enjoy learning the fundamentals of creating their own paneled world. Campers will develop their own style of illustration with drawing exercises and class discussions based on popular anime and manga. From character design to storyboarding and backgrounds, campers will bring their sketches to life using digital tools–Microsoft Surface Pro tablets, stylus pens, and Adobe Photoshop.
