Art in the Afternoon

Second and fourth Wednesdays of the month
2:00 pm
3:30 pm

MAM invites older adults to join us either in-person or virtually for an artistic social gathering each second and fourth Wednesday of the month (November dates will be 11/10 and 11/17). Participants will enjoy an opportunity to learn about and creatively respond to art from the permanent collection and special exhibitions. Each session will feature a virtual docent-led tour and engaging conversation followed by thematically related art activities. All registrants will receive information about attending in person and virtually using Zoom, so they can choose how they would like to participate.

Project inspired by Frontline Arts' exhibition By Our Own Hand, on view at MAM. Create a heritage or identity flag banner inspired by your personal history.

Materials for virtual: colorful paper, scissors, glue, markers optional

This program is free, but registration is required.

The Museum requires all visitors age 12 and older to provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19 or provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the day of your attendance to the program.
