Live, in-person jazz returns to MAM with the 4th Annual Art Meets Jazz, featuring Isaiah J. Thompson! As a rapidly emerging young pianist and composer, Thompson is on the verge of international stardom. The West Orange, NJ native and Juilliard graduate began developing his talent for jazz at age five at NJPAC Jazz for Teens and Jazz House Kids.

Thompson received the 2018 Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Award and has performed with jazz legends that include Steve Turre, Christian McBride, John Pizzarelli, and Buster Williams. Most recently, Thompson contributed to the Golden Globe nominated soundtrack for Motherless Brooklyn . He is an advocate for diversity in his field and community.
