Sunday Studio: Halo Moon

Third Sunday of each month
1:00 pm
2:00 pm

Stargaze with MAM and learn the science behind halo moons while creating a mysterious painted nocturnal skyscape. We will be inspired by weather, the night sky, and George Inness’s masterpiece Winter Moonlight.

Connect with friends and family near and far in our virtual studio space and enjoy learning about art and being creative together! Join us online the 3rd Sunday of every month for a close up look at select artworks from our exhibitions and a guided art-making activity with a MAM art educator live over the Zoom platform.

This program is geared towards children ages 5-12 with their adult companions, but all ages are welcome. Families will need to have a computer, tablet or phone with internet and access to Zoom, and will receive an email confirmation with the event link after registration. Participants will also need to provide their own materials, which will be listed on our website in advance.
