13th Annual AACC Film Forum

Woman in Media-Newark is a diverse organization that educates the public through film, video, and new media as they merge culture and academia. A selection of film segments from Being Gladys will be screened followed by Q&A and discussion. For more than 70 years, Gladys Barker Grauer has advocated for the poor, the working class, and the liberation of herself as a Black woman through the power of her art.

+ Bonus Screening: Being Gladys will be shown in its entirety at the Montclair Public Library on Saturday, February 8, at 10 a.m.

This annual event is hosted by MAM's African American Cultural Committee (AACC). For more information or to join the AACC, email William at aacc@montclairartmuseum.org or visit their page.
