Drawing and Painting

Saturdays, 10 weeks
1:00 pm
2:30 pm
No class on September 18 or November 27

Develop a strong foundation in drawing and painting techniques, and enjoy being creative with other young artists in this in-person class. Learn essential skills such as color mixing, blending, and building texture, while experimenting with a variety of dry and wet media. Students will draw inspiration from masterworks in the museum collection as they find their own voice for creative self-expression.

This in-person class will meet in our spacious Fine Arts Studios, following all COVID-19 guidelines, including mask-wearing and social distancing, for a safe, social, creative experience. In the event that the museum must close, the class will continue online via Zoom.
