Lisa G Westheimer

Lisa G Westheimer is a full time studio artist living and working in West Orange, New Jersey.  She received a Masters Degree in Studio Arts, Ceramics from Montclair State University and has been teaching at the Yard School of Art since 2010.  Her specialties include raku, luster and pit firing of ceramics and fused glass.  She teaches privately, and at Peters Valley School of Craft in Layton, NJ.  Her works have been exhibited nationally.  She is author of instructional videos Smoke Firing: Horsehair BBQ and Strike Firingwith Lisa: Lusterware and the instructional manual, Glass Fusing in a Clay Kiln.
