Sketch directly from the figure to explore the human form and anatomy. The class is open to both new and experienced students who may explore variation and invention when interpreting a pose. Working from a nude model, we will focus on students’ sense of proportion and scale relationships to accurately depict the human form. This class is especially useful for strengthening the portfolio of students 16 and older who need life drawing experience not provided in the high school art curriculum.
