Make Metal Sculpture: The Art of Plasma Cutting
Learn to make sculpture and 3D decorative arts by cutting thin gage metal with a plasma cutter and joining the forms with the use of a spot welder and cold joining techniques. This class will introduce students to the safe use of a plasma torch and spot welder. This class requires the ability to work standing up. This is a 5-week class.
A $40 material fee is due to the instructor for the metal. If you have a glue gun you may bring it to class. Students should wear protective clothing and covered shoes and bring baseball type caps.
