Oil & Acrylic Easel Painting II

Explore the possibilities of acrylic and oil paint while being inspired by artwork in the Museum’s galleries. Building on a foundation of drawing and compositional skills, create form and space on canvas through color mixing, texture, value, and perspective. Subject matter will vary and include still life and the clothed figure. The class is open to both new and experienced students, who may further develop skills and techniques.   Each 4 week session will feature different projects.

This class will take place in MAM’s Leir Hall. In the event that the museum must close, the class will continue online via Zoom.
