Parent/Child Ceramics (Ages 6-8)

Working together with your child, explore the fundamentals of clay to create decorative and functional objects. All works will be glazed and kiln-fired, ensuring they will be treasured for years to come. 

The entrance to the Ceramic Studio is located in the rear of the Administration Building, in the Montclair Art Museum parking lot, directly opposite the side entrance to the main Museum building. You may park anywhere in the lot.

Lisa Conrad

Lisa Conrad obtained her MFA in Art Education from Kean University in NJ. Over the past decade, Conrad has taught visual art instruction within public school districts, for non-profit art centers, and as a museum educator at MAM. Additionally, she is the Founding Director of Newark Print Shop, a non-profit printmaking studio in Newark, NJ, as well as Homeschool Art Club, a resource driven art education platform. Her varied experiences — intellectually, professionally, and personally — have had a great impact on her approach to teaching art. Conrad designs projects that are challenging, fun, and engaging, creating a dynamic learning experience for her art students.
