Studio Explorers: Celebrate Friendship (Thursdays)

Thursdays, Jan 28 – March 18
4:00 pm
5:00 pm

This Virtual Studio Explorers class for budding young artists will meet online with live instruction by a MAM Teaching Artist. This season’s theme, celebrate friendship, cultivates kindness and community as kids create art inspired by playful companionship. From invisible playmates to beloved animals, and favorite games to acts of kindness, kids will enjoy making friends artistically!  Each student will be sent a Creativity Kit of carefully curated mixed media art materials hand selected by their teacher, so they will have all the supplies they need to get creative and develop their artistic skills. Registrations after January 19th will have to pick up the creativity kits at the museum.

Students will need to have a computer, tablet, or phone with internet and access to Zoom.  Classes are limited to 15 children, so students receive personalized attention and support in experimenting with a variety of materials and techniques.
