Studio Explorers: Critter Creations

(Age 6–8) Get creative and join a MAM Art Educator in making amazing animal artworks from your own home in our virtual studio lessons! Students will have fun exploring a variety of techniques to create cute critters using recycled materials and basic art supplies, inspired by the exhibition Federico Uribe: Animalia

This class is online with live instruction. Students will need to have a computer, tablet, or phone with internet and access to Zoom.  Students will also need to have class specific art materials that are listed here.

Shannon Anderson

Shannon obtained her BS in Teaching: Art Education from Keystone College in May of 2018. She began her journey at MAM in 2015 as a counselor in the SummerArt Program, and had such a nice time that she decided to come back for more. Now a museum instructor, Shannon teaches numerous museum classes, such as SummerArt and Drop-in Studio. Her artistic concentration is drawing and painting, however her creativity stretches to all media of art, including ceramics, sculpture, fibers, digital media, and film photography.
