Teen Oil & Acrylic Easel Painting

Tuesdays, 10 weeks
To
4:00 pm
6:00 pm

Explore the possibilities of acrylic and oil paint while being inspired by artwork in the Museum’s galleries. Building on a foundation of drawing and compositional skills, create form and space on canvas through color mixing, texture, value, and perspective. Subject matter will vary and include still life and the clothed figure.

This class is open to both new and experienced students, who may further develop skills and techniques.

Out of an abundance of caution due to the Omicron variant, the winter session will begin the week of January 17 rather than January 10. Monday classes will begin January 24. Complete Yard School of Art policies and procedures, including COVID-19 safety are here.
