Students explore the tactile art of hand-building with clay, learning the proper use of tools, sculpting techniques, surface design, and glazing. All projects are kiln fired and will be cherished for years to come!

Anna Muñiz

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Anna Muñiz holds a New Jersey Teaching Certificate in Art, and an MAT in Art Education from Montclair State University. Specializing in Paper Arts and Ceramics, she got her start teaching at the 92nd Street YMCA in NYC. She has served as a Museum Educator at Newark Museum, and as Adjunct Art Faculty at Union County College and at Essex County College, where she spearheaded a mural program and taught introductory drawing.
