The Montclair Art Museum always displays two exhibitions of works from the permanent collection: a selection of highlights from the Native American collection in the Rand Gallery and a selection of works from the George Inness collection in the George Inness Gallery.

100 Works for 100 Years: A Centennial Celebration

To celebrate its centennial, the Montclair Art Museum is featuring 100 works of art from the collection throughout its galleries and grounds. Identified with special labels, these works were installed in phases throughout Fall 2013, with all on view by January 15, 2014, when the Museum hosted a special birthday party.

Spencer Finch: Yellow

In honor of its Centennial and as part of its new contemporary art program, MAM has commissioned the internationally renowned American artist Spencer Finch to create Yellow (2013), a site-specific permanent installation for the Museum’s façade.
