Universe of Clay
Your child will learn the fundamentals of hand-building with clay and will be able to bring their works of art to life! They will be introduced to the three core clay techniques– coil, pinch, and slab. During the classes, your child will be learning about various sculpting tools and use them to design and carve their surface of clay.
All projects will be glazed during class and fired in a kiln to be brought home.

Irene Domingo
Irene Domingo graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor’s in Fine Art with a concentration in Studio Art. She considers herself a multi-disciplined artist, specializing in digital, illustration, drawing, and ceramic sculpture. Irene has been working in the art field for 6 years as an instructor for pre-k to adults. She has been working with the MAM for the past 2 years. If Irene had to pick something to do during an off time she would choose to hang out with her cats or play Overwatch 2.
