AAPI New Jersey and OCA-New Jersey are proud to partner with the Estate of Corky Lee and the Montclair Art Museum to host the New Jersey launch of the groundbreaking book, Corky Lee’s Asian America. In honor of 2024 AAPI Heritage Month, Corky Lee’s Asian America offers a profound reflection on Asian American history and activism. Featuring never-before-seen photographs alongside Corky’s most renowned images, the book encapsulates his lifelong commitment to documenting moments of inclusion, resistance, and ethnic pride.

Join us for a very special evening celebrating the launch of Corky Lee's America, featuring special guest Chee Wang Ng. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with short film screening and discussion 7–8 p.m. Over the course of the evening, you will have the opportunity to view curated prints from Corky Lee's collection, meet Chee Wang Ng, and enjoy bubbly sips and delightful bites.
