Art is Live!

Art is Live!

7 p.m | Weston Gallery

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT

Coming to the Montclair Art Museum on Friday, November 7, is the new, free, member-exclusive mini concert series, Art is Live! featuring the Brooklyn-based band Foley.

Foley is a folk rock band hailing from New York. Founded in the autumn of 2017, the group synthesizes their own effortless grooves and dulcet tones through both the traditional roots and underground of folk music. The one time three piece composed of Eddie Byrne (vocals, guitar), Joe Guzzardo (guitar), and Tom Parisi (bass) has flourished into a full band effort calling on Collin Melazzo (drums), Danny Barbati (piano), and Nick Biagini (saxophone, flute).

MAM is constantly asking, “What is, and what should be, considered fine art?” It is only fitting, then, for the Montclair Art Museum to celebrate the artistry of musicians, poets, and lyrical performers in a way that complements our world-class exhibitions.

Art is Live! is proud to bring this intimate, members-only concert to our galleries thanks to the support of Montclair State University’s award-winning college radio station, WMSC, and the renowned John J. Cali School of Music.
