Studio Stories: Access Student Art Exhibition

This exhibition celebrates the creativity and artistic achievements of students participating in MAM’s Access Program. Designed for neurodiverse students and students with disabilities ages 16 and up, our studio art classes welcome artists of all abilities and experience levels, as well as friends and allies. Through small-group classes and individualized instruction, MAM’s teaching artists tailor each class to the unique goals and interests of each student, helping them develop their artistic skills and creative voices.

The artwork on view reflects the diverse range of media, techniques, and subject matter explored by students throughout the past year. For some, the Access Program offers a first opportunity to create art in a supportive and accessible environment. Others are building on established skills and interests, while some are discovering new materials, approaches, and creative possibilities. Together, these works highlight the individuality, imagination, and artistic growth of the students who make up the Access Program community.

Reception: Friday, September 25th, 4:30—6:30 p.m.
