MONTCLAIR ART MUSEUM ANNOUNCES FALL FUNDRAISER ART UNCORKED FEATURING A STANDOUT SILENT AUCTION ROSTER

Montclair, NJ, October 6, 2026—The Montclair Art Museum (MAM) announces the return of Art Uncorked on Friday, November 6, 2026. The Museum’s signature fall fundraiser combines an unforgettable cocktail party with a curated silent art auction. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest, this year’s event features exceptional wines and craft beers from the region paired with market hall fare, alongside artwork from 40 celebrated artists across a wide range of price points.

The Art Uncorked Event Committee and Auction Chair Michael Dubin have assembled an extraordinary, diverse selection of artwork for the auction. Highlights include works by installation artist Spencer Tunick, artist and fashion designer Misha Japanwala, street artist Jerkface, photographer Claire Rosen, ceramicist Ruth Borgenicht, sculptor Tom Nussbaum, painter Valeri Larko, and artist Kate Dodd, whose site-specific installation, Kate Dodd: You’re Invited! is currently on view at MAM.

The auction also showcases original works by Ivan Amato, Alan Barnett, Jason Braunstein, Ai Sogawa Campbell, Sarah Canfield, Rachel Townsend Cerny, Helena Chywski, Fiona Clark, Ceil Diskin, Manman Huang, Samar Husseini, Sonomi Kobayashi, Kosten, Jennifer Ley, Evan Lorberbaum, Nikki Maloof, Suliman Onque, Ted Papoulas, Jay Pingree, Steve Powers, Amy Putman, Kortez Robinson, Ricardo Roig, Christine Romanell, Anne Sanger, Victoria Tentler-Krylov, JP Terlizzi, Katie Truk, Robin Vitullo, Michelle Wen, Thomas Witte, Heidi Woo, and Voyo Woo.

Guests will begin the evening with a preview of the galleries before gathering in Leir Hall for an evening of passed hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and a live DJ. Guests have the opportunity to mix and mingle with featured artists and support and celebrate the Museum as a vibrant cultural hub and place of community, creativity, and connection.

“Art Uncorked brings people together for a fun night and a great cause,” said Todd Caissie, Executive Director of the Montclair Art Museum. “Proceeds we raise allow us to expand access and remove barriers so creativity can truly flourish. We all need the wellness and inspiration that comes from being exposed to the arts.”
