Applications for our 2025 SummerART Counselor Program are officially open.
Interested in joining the MAM team this summer? Volunteer and paid counselor positions are available for interested parties.
Lead Counselors must be ages 16+ with prior camp experience. Counselors-in-Training must be ages 15+, and are able to gain volunteer/community service hours and experience.

Ways to Volunteer
African American Cultural Committee (AACC)
The African American Cultural Committee is a group of dedicated artists, community leaders, and volunteers who are engaged in the life of the Montclair Art Museum.
Children’s and Family Programs
Assist with arts and crafts activities at children’s and family events held throughout the year.
Creative Aging
Serve as a volunteer assistant to instructors in art appreciation and art-making classes for older adults including Art in the Afternoon.
Membership Tables
Promote the benefits of MAM membership at Museum and community events.
Off-Site Support
Engage with MAM's wider community, assist with art projects, and promote the Montclair Art Museum. Must be able to provide your own transportation to offsite events (up to 20 miles from the Montclair Art Museum).

Special Events
Be a part of MAM's fundraising activities! Special Events Lend a hand at Members’ Openings, lectures, and other special events by registering guests, pouring wine, distributing programs, etc.
Yard School of Art
Like working with children? Serve as a volunteer assistant to art teachers during children's classes and at birthday art parties.
