Beginner/Intermediate Functional Ware

Learn the art of throwing basic functional shapes in clay on a pottery wheel. As a beginner, you will make cups, vases, and bowls. Intermediate potters will learn handle and lid making to create mugs, pitchers, and pots with lids. You will also learn trimming and glazing to transform your pieces into functional artistic pottery to use in your daily life. Classes include demonstrations and individual support in a creative and friendly environment. 

Each student receives 25 lbs of clay for use during class. Additional clay can be purchased as needed. Tools and glazes are provided in the studio.
