This course will introduce you to foundational watercolor painting techniques. You will create paintings using wet on a dry surface, wet on a wet page, and dry brush while learning about the paint, brushes, and paper specific to watercolor. This course is for students who have no painting experience, as well as those with some watercolor experience who want to strengthen their skills.

Maria Siano

Maria has been a watercolor artist for 7 years. She also enjoys practicing many other art forms, including pastel drawing, photography, and crochet.

She teaches art classes in watercolor techniques and Tunisian crochet.

Maria finds creating art, in any format, to be energizing. She continues to look for ways to learn new techniques, and knows that there will always be more to learn, and more skills to develop and expand.
