Intermediate/Advanced Wheel Throwing
Expand your ceramic wheel throwing skills! Through demonstrations, exercises, and personal work time, you will leave with your own ready-to-use functional pottery. This class is for students who have some experience using the potter's wheel and applying glazes as you will complete items from start to finish.
Each student receives 25 lbs of clay for use during class. Additional clay can be purchased as needed. Tools and glazes are provided in the studio.

Steve Jaskowak
Stephen Jaskowak has been working with clay, in one capacity or another, on a daily basis since 1983. He started out as a functional potter working in potteries throughout Wisconsin. He received his B.A. in 1996 from the University of Wisconsin– Parkside and his M.F.A. from Miami University in 1998. Steve has been the ceramic studio manager at MAM since 2012 and is currently an adjunct professor at Kean University. Steve likes listening to the Grateful Dead and has been to over 437 of their concerts.
