Pottery on the Wheel

Discover, create, and learn the inner workings of a pottery studio. We will work exclusively on the wheel and gain a solid foundation of clay throwing techniques including how to prepare, center, and shape clay. This class allows students to learn about glaze combinations and differing techniques involved in the glazing process. Your child will gain skills in forming their pottery into something useful as well as unique and creative artworks.

Students at this stage will gain a new sense of confidence in their developing abilities, that can help them achieve more. All works will be glazed and kiln-fired.
