Teen Open Studio
Teen Open Studio
Designed for teens enrolled in high school, Teen Studio is a space to explore new materials, learn new techniques, and challenge yourself creatively while collaborating with your peers. Have fun, de-stress, and enjoy artmaking outside of a school setting, and an opportunity to display your work in a seasonal exhibition. Teen Access Pass holders can bring one friend to Teen Studio.
This week, participants will have the chance to work on personal projects in one of MAM’s fully-stocked art studios. An instructor will be available throughout open studio to provide feedback and assistance as needed, as well as access to certain art supplies.
By registering for this class, you are agreeing to MAM’s Art School Policies.

Andrea Ferreira
Andrea’s art practice is rooted in joy, community, and access; she loves encouraging people to connect with their creativity and evaluate what art means to them. She seeks to highlight the role art plays in healing, self-expression, and advocacy. She finds fulfillment in the process of creation and is constantly exploring new art mediums to grow as a teaching artist. Andrea also loves the space museums provide to look and talk about art. She is the Volunteer and Intern Coordinator at the Montclair Art Museum.
