Take your cartooning skills to the next level in this dynamic drawing class for young artists who love characters, comics, and animation! Through examples in class and a visit to MAM’s exhibitions, you will explore how professional artists and cartoonists use shape, expression, movement, and storytelling to create memorable characters and action-packed scenes. Draw inspiration from comics, animated series, graphic novels, and your own imagination as you experiment with character design, dynamic poses, facial expressions, and visual storytelling techniques. Work with a variety of drawing tools and mixed media while building confidence in your artistic style.
